Simon Fenton
I have loved drawing since childhood when I filled big sheets of paper with weird ocean creatures, dinosaurs and plants in scenes for the Jurassic period. I knew then that when I grew up, I wanted to be either an artist or an archeologist. Eventually I found my career as an illustrator.
While studying at Randwick School of Design I was introduced to a professional freelance artist group and was offered a position as junior artist which I eagerly accepted. Over the next couple of years I learned my trade in a frantic, fun filled studio surrounded by some of Australia's most successful commercial artists.
Since then I developed and refined a broad range of styles using both the computer (vector and photoshop) and traditional media. My styles lend themselves to various commercial art disciplines including graphic design, character development, scraperboard and etching, editorial, packaging, corporate logo development and storyboards.
