Born in Wales, I gave up any prospect of life down in the mines when my family moved to Australia. At the tender age of 14, I joined Rupert Murdoch’s burgeoning newspaper empire as a paperboy. Of course I can’t take sole credit for his success but let’s face it, no one does it alone.
I worked my way through art school then went to see the world. Cut my creative teeth at two world-class design studios 'Cato Purnell & Partners', and 'David Lancashire Design'. My illustration awards include Gold from the Melbourne Art Directors Club and from The London International.
My many clients include Time and the LA Times magazines, Sony Music New York, Rolling Stone and my Aunty’s cookie business.
I consider my strengths in illustration to be diversity and innovation, I am able to develop and apply new styles for specific projects.
